Eiffel tower is one of the most artistic buildings of Paris, France. It was built in 1889 for art exhibition and it took 2 years to build this tower. The Tower was named after Gustave Eiffel, a successful businessman who participated in the competition. Tower is also known as ‘The Iron lady’.
Funny but true, in the opening day of exhibition, visitors and viewers thought it was still under construction and used to ask the builder when will it be completed but it was designed to be like that. After the exhibition, it supposed to be demolished but somehow Eiffel utilized this tower as French radio tower. You can see many antennas in the top of the tower today. This tower is 324 meters high with its radio and television antennas.
Eiffel Tower was the tallest in the world from 1889 to 1930. Today, Burj Khalifa in Dubai is the tallest building in the world which is three times taller than Eiffel Tower.

Few days back we went to watch a British Royal Military School or Music Kneller Hall performance. They only have this speical performance once a year and it is open for public. The show started at around 8pm and it lasted for about 2 hours. (Believe me, it's not long enough)
It was my first time get in touch with army and went inside the army camp. I found that army officers are very straight forward and they would like to have a yes/no answer. Their uniform is very classy and shoes are shiny. It was an eye-opening experience, it really gives me an idea of how different lives other people are living.
The performance of course was really good. We also got the chance to see some fireworks, and my favourite music instrument, bagpipes! We have captured a few videos and we would like to share with you. Hope you enjoy it.
