RIP, Whitney Houston


Whitney Houston found dead in her room, on 4th floor, Beverly Hilton Hotel. She was pronounced deat at 3:55pm on saturday, 11 Feb 2012, cause of death is unknown.

The pop superstar died on the eve of the Grammy Awards in LA at the same hotel where her mentor, record mogal Clive Davis, was holding an annual pre-event party feature scores of music industry celebrities.

Her body was removed from the hotel shortly before midnight through a backdoor to avoid the crush of media set up to cover her shocking death.

In 2009, the Guinness World Records cited her as the most-awarded female act of all time.[3] Her list of awards includes two Emmy Awards, six Grammy Awards, 30 Billboard Music Awards, 22 American Music Awards, among a total of 415 career awards as of 2010.

Houston's first acting role was as the star of the feature film The Bodyguard (1992). The film's original soundtrack won the 1994 Grammy Award for Album of the Year. Its lead single "I Will Always Love You", became the best-selling single by a female artist in music history.
